SHELLEY CYCLE COACHES
ABOUT ME
My name is Michelle Geoghegan. I have more than ten years experience racing in Europe. During that time I have raced against some of the best in the world across Belgium, Holland, France, Czechia, Sweden, UK, Luxembourg and Germany for my various trade teams. I have also represented Ireland on many occasions most notably at World Cup level.
I came to cycling late so my experience ranges from that of the ultimate beginner headed out on my first club spin on a flat bar hybrid in running shoes, to lining up on the start line against world tour teams, literally living and breathing every aspect of the sport.
Later in my career I dabbled on the dark side, cyclocross. For me cyclocross is about being uncomfortable. Pushing the boundaries of what I can and even want to do. It's about feeling fear and doing it anyway. I have ridden the most technical courses on the professional circuit in Europe, won 2 elite national silver medals and won a masters national title. That journey began with a gang of friends who made being slightly petrified in the middle of the woods FUN!!!

I am a UCI Level 2 coach and am currently studying for a BSc in Coaching and Sports Performance.

Now I want to share that experience and knowledge with you!!!
